Recent exhibitions...

Arenas often juxtaposes his platoon of plastic troops in postures suggesting conquest like 2003's "atl450.jpg" and "tso-A–.329jpg." The artists choice of titles are truly mystifying. But the collective punch of his images is never vague or unclear. In Arenas satirical world, toys and their unseen puppet masters are out for blood and nature is always the victim of these totems of raw aggression.
